DAY 01 ————– / ISTANBUL

Arrival to Istanbul International Airport. Meet and assist at the airport and transfer to your hotel.

 

DAY 02 ISTANBUL

Full day classical Istanbul city sightseeing tour with lunch. Breakfast and full day classical Istanbul city tour with lunch. HIPPODROME, The center of sport activities with its four monuments; The GERMAN FOUNTAIN OF WILHELM II, Egyptian Obelisk, SERPENTINE COLUMN and the WALLED OBELISK .The BLUE MOSQUE The most famous mosque of Istanbul which is known as the BLUE MOSQUE as well because of its beautiful blue Iznik tiles. (Visit is not possible on Friday due to Friday Prayer) THE HAGIA SOPHIA GRAND MOSQUE This ancient basilica, built by Constantine the Great, in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century, is one of the architectural marvels of all time. (Visit is not possible on Friday due to Friday Prayer) GRAND COVERED BAZAAR  In this labyrinth of streets and passages are more than 4000 shops with each trade having its own area; the goldsmiths’ street, the carpet sellers, Turkish arts and crafts, such as handpainted ceramic plates, hand-honed copperware, brasware and trays, water ewers, onyxware and meerschaum pipers.(Grand Bazaar closed on Sunday, replaced with Arasta Bazaar) LUNCH (Drinks are extra) HAGIA IRENE CHURCH Built during the same period (4th century) as its neighbour the Hagia Sophia.The name Hagia Irene Church means ‘’Godly’’ or ‘’Holy Wisdom’’ in Greek. After the conquest of Istanbul it was incorporated into the grounds of Topkapı Palace and like many other churches was converted into a mosque. However there were no major changes made to the building’s structure. (Hagia Irene Church closed on Tuesday) TOPKAPI PALACE The great palace of the Ottoman Sultans from the 15th to the 19th centuries, housing an exquisite collection of precious gems, jewellery thrones of sultans, costumes worn by the sultans and their families; miniatures, the Holy Mantle; CHABER OF SACRED RELICS. Return to hotel and overnight.

DAY 03 ISTANBUL / IZMIR / KUSADASI

Breakfast and transfer to Istanbul Airport for flight to Izmir. Upon arrival Meet and assist at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Kusadasi.

 

DAY 04 KUSADASI

The tour starting with Isa Bey Mosque, then drive to an ancient Greek city, later a major Roman city, on the west coast of Asia Minor which called Ephesus, stroll past the celsuslibrary, the Temple Of Hadrian and the Trajan Fountain in the Ancient Ephesus. Afterwalking on the historical marble street the Great Theater where St. Paul preached willmeet at the end. Open buffed lunch in a local Turkish restaurant. In the afternoon willvisit the carpet cooperative to see how the Turkish carpets are made by hand. Proceed toshrine of Mother Mary, it is believed where she spent recent years of her life. TempleOf Artemis (Diana), on the side of one of the seven wonders of ancient World. At theend Leather Fashion show will be full of fun. Return to your hotel, dinner and overnight.

 

 

 

 

DAY 05 KUSADASI

Drive to Pamukkale that has the meaning of the Cotton Castle in English. Once known as Hierapolis, famous for healing thermal / mineral Baths and beautiful snow-white “petrified waterfalls. After lunch visit Hierapolis, including the magnificently preserved Necropolis, the main Street and Gates, the thermal Baths, the devil’s hole, and Masterpiece Theater. Pamukkale terraces are made of travertine, a sedimentary rock deposited by water from the hot springs. In this area, there are 17 hot water springs in which the temperature ranges from 35 °C to 100 °C . The water that emerges from the spring is transported 320 meters (1,050 ft.) to the head of the travertine terraces and deposits calcium carbonate on a section 60 to 70 meters long covering an expanse of 240 meters to 300 meters. Swimming or a therapeutic bath in a hotel pool’s hot spring mineral waters. Return to your hotel in Kusadasi, dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 06 KUSADASI / IZMIR / ISTANBUL

Breakfast, transfer to Izmir airport for flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival meet and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.

 

DAY 07 ISTANBUL / —————–

Breakfast, transfer to Istanbul International Airport for homebound flight.
